When planning a Disney-inspired micro wedding at Terralina Crafted Italian, one could only look to Lady and the Tramp, right?
A hidden gem of a quaint ceremony spot, Terralina offers an intimate atmosphere for a micro wedding ceremony and reception. Staged against the railing with a view of Paddlefish and Saratoga Springs Resort, the ceremony was held outdoors allowing our florist to get creative with her floral installation, as seen here cascading down the lamp post — very English garden-esque, reminiscent of the movie.
Terralina’s private dining room (The Observatory) is as close to authentic, rustic Italian as you can get without going to Italy (or the Italy pavilion at Epcot, of course). Terralina offers a variety of classic Italian dishes with a twist, that are the ultimate wedding day comfort food.
We dressed up the tables for an elegant meal to be shared among an intimate group of 12. A nod to Lady and the Tramp themselves can be seen in the stationery pieces and sweets display. Who wouldn’t be excited to order off a menu this adorable?
To enhance the micro wedding experience and create a memory so unique and magical, consider local vendors for decor, sweets and entertainment. Caricaturist, but make it classy? Yes, please. We provided an unmatched live art experience by painting our guests down to the detail. A live experience plus a built-in party favor that’s sure to end up framed = win win.
The grooms’ attire were classy yet casual, with the slightest hints to Lady and the Tramp. Victor sported a grey suit with a beige bowtie symbolic of Tramp himself, and Elijah rocked the blue plaid coat with a blue bowtie inspired by Lady’s collar. Easily transitioned from day to night and appropriate for any occasion, these gents were dressed to the nines for a “bella notte” indeed….napkin bibs encouraged for the obligatory Lady and the Tramp spaghetti moment.
Pro Tip:
Schedule your intimate wedding ceremony at Terralina in the morning (before 11:00am) and then enjoy brunch or lunch with your guests in the Observatory! Contact your Fairy Godmother (*wink wink*) to help with coordination and design. (Psst: I have a special package only for Disney Springs venues that would be perfect for this!)
